![]() It was available as a road car from 1992 until 1996 in very limited numbers. It was designed to qualify as a Group A car for the World Rally Championship, in which it competed between 19. The Ford Escort RS Cosworth is a rally version homologation special of the fifth generation European Ford Escort. Agility and acceleration/braking capabilities are more important than suspension. If v12 was available yesterday it would be very close decision between v12 and RS19.įor my use case RS19 and V12 were the best. Overall impression is great to ride, terrible to look at :D Plastics quality is terrible comparing to everything else. Need to put some foam or pads on it since my ankles and shins hurt from the cheap and hard plastics. In terms of agility, i would say that after such short time it feels more agile than v12 and s18. Most powerful wheel, amazing breaking performance, very stable without any wobbles. Very agile wheel, however it's height&weight is little bit problematic on tight turns. Only thing which didn't like was that it felt that it's power is kind of soft-limited both in acceleration, but especially in breaking. Great build quality but I would have to wait till end of Sept or even Oct to receive it. V12 - test drove it for 15 minutes yesterday. It was supposed to be available in 2 weeks, but it can delay to 4 weeks ![]() ![]() However it felt very agile and I felt total control of the wheel. Maybe I didn't tune suspension well enough but it didn't perform so well on small holes and bumps as v11, but it was much better for bigger potholes and curbs. S18 - liked it but comparing to other wheels I could feel it had least power. Suspension feels very good for bike trails in bad conditions but I felt disconnected from the road. Main factor was wheel availability.and I want squeeze as much as possible from this season. VERY effective, not to mention the stress you save the motor. However, I find the braking on my 16x to be lacking aswell and I resolved that by slapping on some power pads AND carving as I brake.Įither one on their own I would consider a significant enhancement, but together. The ONLY thing I can say against it is that the braking is said to be lacking. It's nimble, perfect for the city, has the most personalisable features, a solid shell with well placed bumpers so if you take a dive at speed you won't end up with a split shell and mangled trolley handle. It out performs your needs in terms of acceleration and top speed, leaving room for growth, or just heaps of headroom and little-to-no chance of a cut-out. Ipx5, and ipx7 batteries have got you covered.įor the hotter conditions it performs flawelessly aswell with a huge heatsink, which is sort of surprising because it has no fan, but that also means that there can be no fan failure, making the temps quite predictable and safe. You said "daily ride", if you want to ride pretty much every day, you'll need a wheel that can ride in all conditions, including wet. I openly have a bias for it since i believe it will suit my personal needs extremely well.īut we're not here to discuss why it's good for me, it's about you, so here's why I think it would be a good wheel for you. All wheels price is almost the same where i'm located. speed (44top speed) on S18 and was still at 70% battery.ītw. ![]() It is more about acceleration and agility, with good breaking performance. It's obvious that v12 will be better for higher ranges and 50+ speeds but i don't need those speeds on bike lanes and sidewalks. I mostly interested in waiting for v12, but I'm wondering if anyone has a comparison of S18 and V12 and can tell about performance difference between those in up to 30km daily range. S18 is not as nimble as 16S but i think after little practice it will be very close. I test drove V11 and S18 for 1 day each(i did 30km on each), and i loved S18 for the speed, agility and I hated v11 (slower acceleration, unstable, hard to control). My daily range is 25km(10-12km each way), very rarely longer trips(35km) I'm looking for best wheel for my use case which is city commuting. ![]() However I'm pushing it to the limits with very frequent beeps. Hi, I'm currently on 16S with 600km already and i love it. ![]()
